Day Spa

Someone dear to me treated me to a beautiful day spa morning and I must say it was a real treat indeed. We went to Keturah Day Spa for a couples package and it was simply indulging and completely relaxing to the point where one of us fell asleep and snored very loudly. We giggled and shared a lovely morning together and I ended up going home to have a nana nap.

I very much enjoy getting beauty treatments but I must admit they are becoming ridiculously pricey at some places. Had I gone to my usual therapist, I would have gotten a smaller bed and a little less of the atmosphere but I would have paid a lot less which means I could treat myself more often. It was lovely to have the candlelit spacious room for both of us to relax and giggle together, the gorgeous spa; the lovely fluffy towels and the fruit and the lah dee dah fluffy welcome to make you feel like you are floating on a cloud but at the end of the day it is the same massage.

Smoothies

I am not sure if it is because Summer weather has made an appearance during Spring but I cannot get enough of smoothies at the moment. I started making them for the kids for morning tea when I had some that was leftover which I simply could not resist. It was a real thirst quencher. And it went down so smoothly :)
Since my love affair with smoothies started, I have made:

Watermelon Smoothie

Frozen berries smoothie

Banana smoothie

Strawberry Smoothie

Now I really want to try this Kiwi and Pineapple Smoothie – the colour is just amazingly yummy!!

Shoes

I came across these shoes and although they are most impractical I just had to have them. I have a passion for shoes. I don’t care how cheap or expensive they are. If they catch my eye I just have to have them.

Highly impractical!
