Yesterday at 23:09 it was our winter solstice. I have been so cold since this morning and getting in the car to see 4 degrees on the car temp thingymajig just made me even colder but I love to feel that cold. I rug up and hide myself in big long coats and big frilly scarves, wear thick socks and big long boots.
I’m not a big fan of heaters as I would much rather lie in the warm sun or drink a hot tea or treat myself to a hot chocolate. However, I am a big fan of the electric blanket! I hope everyone has a warm bed on nights like these.
“What to expect when you’re expecting” was my favourite book when I was pregnant with my babies. I’m one of those people who likes to research and read all about anything new in my life so when I found out I could read about every step of what would happen to my body and what size my baby would be at every stage of the pregnancy, I was in heaven.
All those years ago when I became a full time stay at home mum, this book was one of the first books I bought and now I thought how ironic to go see the film “What to expect when you’re expecting” when I’m about to embark into a new career adventure which won’t revolve 100% around my babies.
