I’m very proud of Miss6. We have completed this week’s french homework and her reading has improved so much since the beginning of the term. Her English is far more advanced but that’s to be expected … five days a week at English school versus two hours a week at french school.
We are now practising her spelling and sounding out words in English then onto some reading eggs. ABC Reading Eggs is just fantastic – she loves doing it, it is helping her learn through play, it gives her computer skills and I get to see her progress and print out certificates for her as she moves on to the next level.
I just hope Master3 will follow in her footsteps. He tends to speak a lot more English than she ever did even though he understands every word.

Congratulations. What a great opportunity. French immersion schooling is common in Canada, but harder to to achieve here in Australia
thanks Julia – it is very hard indeed but glad there is at least a french school here and all around Australia there are French Immersion Schools too.
