Well it looks like I actually did it. I struggled a lot during this 30 posts in 30 days exercise but I am proud to say that I endeavoured and am now reaping the rewards:
- I have met many new librarians online
- I know more about my librarian friends’ professional and personal sides
- I have learnt more about ebook readers and ebooks through this exercise than I have via the internet; in particular, their practicality.
- I have developed a strong desire to attend more library conferences
- I have learnt the advantages of writing papers for conferences so stay tuned.
- I have learnt that librarians have more than just libraries as a common interest.
- I have learnt that Librarians make interesting people – we are fabulous characters.
- And finally I have developed a love of twitter.

This challenge has given me a hunger for more and I want to:
- try to find a mutual topic once a month or once a fortnight for us all the blog about. For example, for the month of July we could all blog about: “Our very first personal and our very first professional experience in a library.”
- try to raise the profile of librarians especially for WA librarians after the funding issues we’ve had the past few months. I still think we should do a librarians’ calendar hehehe – Firefighters do it so can Librarians!!! Like the Swedish librarians have done here. We could raise funds for a charitable organisation i.e. libraries :D
