Dad, friends, even the GP told her she was imagining it and overreacting, and it nagged at her for about a year, then she finally stood her ground and got it properly looked into. Turns out my sister was 6 months away from being blind in one eye and it was only Mum's insistence that got it addressed and thankfully reversed (well, she's still got crap eyesight but she's not going blind anymore). Needless to say she stood her ground and didn't take any crap from anyone from that point on...
